Why isn't fanfiction and imdb working?

How can i tell if FanFiction.net isnt working?

  • I'm semi new to FanFiction (ive known about it for awhile but i just made an account a month or so ago) and i only have two passwords for every account i have. I used both on the sign in, but it says its invalid. I cant log in at all to update my story or check my PM's. I've done the forgot password email thing, but it never showed up on my hotmail account. (i didnt forget, one minuet i was logged in, then i signed out. The next day i tried to log in and it didnt work) I have read that FF has periods of time when you cant upload stories and it wont work, is this one of those?

    Make sure your capslock is off and you spell everything correctly. usually when you do the email thing, it should say if you didnt recieve an email click here or something. Do that if there is an option for that. Check your email daily and make sure your in the correct email. I dont use fanfiction but many similar websites to it have the same issue and what i wrote up there is what usually helps me. You can also report it to fanfiction on their website if the issue proceeds.

they've been having a lot of issues lately, and I saw some grumbling on a message board earlier today regarding their email notifications being down (again). That's probably why you haven't gotten your pw reset email. Usually once they get this fixed all the emails go out, but last time it took a few days. :(
