Blackberry wifi help?

Problem with WiFi on my BlackBerry Curve 8520... help please!?

so I got my phone about a month ago and the Wifi was working perfectly, but today the grey wifi symbol on the top right corner wont turn white. when i go into Manage Connections and select to turn the wifi on, there is a "-". and in Wifi Options it says ''Active WiFi Connection:none" What does all this mean?? does my phone need to be repaired? I already rebooted my phone and set up my wifi profile again, but nothing works. HELP! oh.. and the problem is definitely my blackberry because my laptop, etc etc all work perfectly.
