    If you are in an AT&T service area, check the first link below for U-verse service. Excellent choice in an apartment. This is my personal opinion, but it's based on 10 years of experience as a Comcast customer: don't go there! Another idea: if you'd be happy with just your local over-the-air channels, and if your apt. is in an area with good reception with an antenna, give that a try. You can buy an excellent indoor antenna for the cost of one month of cablle or satellite service, and there are no further costs. You'd then just need to get DSL service for the Interent--maybe $20 to $40 per month. The indoor antenna in the second link is among the very few that are worth considering. If I had to buy an indoor antenna, it's the only one I'd consider. Good luck with your choice.
