What is the best way to calculate a date difference?

Help please with my first date(IDK If its even a date)?

  • have a few questions but they're all related. So anyways, whats the real difference between hanging out with a girl and a date? I asked this girl earlier today if she would like to pretty much spend an entire day in the City just with me visiting museums, and probably eating out. Idk if i asked it in a romantic type of way but she said yeah immedietly, almost before i finished. It'll be just me and her so would this be considered a date? And would she know that? Or would we be just doing friend stuff, because were already kinda friends, and i want her to be more than a friend. If its not a date, then is there a way i can make it one? This is my first time hanging out with a girl just us two though, I've hung with girls but with around other people. She's never dated before pretty sure, and i've never dated before. Not trying to be cocky, but I'm also pretty positive she likes me or at-least did, she gave off signs which is why i wanted to ask her out. Any ideas/tips/advice would help lol. Im new to this haha. Also during this date/hangout thing is there a way i can give off romantic vibes to let her know i also like her?

  • Answer:

The difference between a date and hanging out is intent. If you have intent to grow and develop an intimate relationship with each other and gauge compatibility during this hang out then it is a date.

Aww..great question. A date has a romantic slant to it. It sounds like this is where you are trying to day this. If so, at some point along the way, tell her how you feel. Not right away though maybe during a quiet time in the museum. Also, a date includes you paying for everything. It is a clear indication that you would give your last for her. If so, be sure to pay for everything. Make your conversation easy and make her feel comfortable by being just who you are..no fakeness. She will know right away and be put off by that. Now..a hanging out is what it is; hanging out with a friend. Everything is dutch, you meet her there and you leave her azz right there. So there is a difference. Make the right choice and oh..good luck.

Give off hints... hold hands, etc. Talk to her on a personal basis. Maybe if your feeling confident, sneak in a kiss on the cheek ;)
