What does it feel like to have wanderlust?

I really like her and have for years. I wanna say what I feel. Should you ever give up on someone you like?

• I feel like I can't give up. No matter what because in my heart I think it is there. Ok here is the story...I have known this girl since 10th grade. I ended up going to homecoming with her senior year. We both moved to the same area. She lives close to me now, but it is 7 years later. I never told her my feelings back then because I was too nervous/shy and was too dumb to realize what I could have had. We lived about 50 minutes apart and she has a busy schedule so it is not like she is available. Still I feel like you never get the perfect scenario and that sometimes the best things are harder. I don't want to never give it a shot because I think there is something there. I am very attracted to her, but I am not sure she knows that I am. I think she has an idea that I like her, but I think I either need to make a move or tell her how I feel. I am leaning towards telling her how I feel. We have hung out twice already, but I haven't said anything or made a move. I wanted to get back into talking/hanging out before I did , but now it has been several months. I didn't think all the feelings I used to have would come back like that, but they did. She is so amazing. I cant even describe it. Also the two times we have hung out since reconnecting she dressed nice and the second time seemed a little shy around me. I think she could possibly be the love of my life. I try to date other girls and I all I end up thinking about is her. I can't stop. They just don't make me feel the same right now. We have so much in common. We are both kinda goofy, intelligent, grew up together and get along really well. I feel this connection with her. Should I just tell her casually? Not make it too big of a deal? Would she like freak out if I tell her? We are supposed to hang out in a few weeks. I want to tell her how I feel and ask her to go on a date or two and see where it goes. I want to be like: It's been great reconnecting with you these last months. I really like hanging around you. You make me feel really good and always have. I have to be honest and say that I had a huge crush on you in HS, but I never came out. I don't know why. I still liked you, but when we reconnected I wasn't sure how much. I realized over the last few months I feel things more than friends with you. I want to know if you wanna go on a date with me and see where it goes.
