Whats wrong with racial and ethnic or any profiling ?

When you think that someone who isn't dressed or looks like you is up to no good - THAT is racial profiling. We all do it. None of us are "not guilty" of profiling someone. I was profiled when I used to carry a large purse. Whenever I shopped, I was followed. It made me mad, but that's their job. The problem is that ANYONE could be a criminal. Have you looked at your local website for sex offenders? Granted, some of them look crazy - but most look normal. Like everyday Joe. People who commit crimes don't always "fit" a profile. That's the point. You have every right to be suspicious. But that doesn't mean someone should lose their life over it.

Because 95% of the time you're assuming things that are not accurate.

Ok, so when Muslim terrorists realize that you're only checking people that look like Muslims and not white people or people that look like Americans, they will begin using that to their advantage to put people in danger. It's best to just check everyone... Anyone would half a brain would act like that, If I was gonna deal drugs, I would be an idiot to actually dress like a drug dealer... EDIT: I do agree though, that if someone dresses or acts a certain way, then it is okay to somewhat judge them because thats their fault.

The ONLY thing wrong with it is if it is used as the SOLE criteria, and it NEVER is when done by professionals. But I am getting goddamned sick and tired of TSA agents pulling the depends off of Grandma, while Sheik Muhammed stroles on by. Because YOU Liberals will not allow them to Profile.
