Why can't I talk to my friend on the webcam?

I cant seem to talk to my best friend anymore. Help?

  • We were before Best friends until the holiday came. We drifted apart since then, and I know why. He told me that he had talk to me alot while I didnt even start a conversation with him. Now, I don't know what to do since I have no idea what to talk about. I am not so sociable towards others. I don't really start a conversation with others but instead, they start it with me. When i meet him, i tend to walk away. But i dont really mean it though... Help? I really want to bond with my Best Friend again. Im always lonely in school. All my other friends has a best friend. Not mer. )= Please help me bond with him again. Thanks..

    No one here can help you to bond with him, only you can do that. You capitalize him as your Best Friend, but yet you don't know what to talk to him about, and you walk away when you see him? Think about him as a person. What do you like about him? Does he make you laugh? Do you have the same things in common? Or do you just want to be able to say you have a 'best friend', so you don't feel on your own anymore? It's completely fine to be shy and socially uncomfortable - I know how this feels and it's daunting in many situations. But I'm sure you know that friendship is a two-way street. You have to give and take, so it's no wonder he got fed up with making all the effort. Does he know how much you value his friendship? From your actions, it's probably a fair assumption that he thinks you don't care. So let him know that you care. So far, he's been the only one maintaining the friendship, so now you need to reach out to him and proove that you are willing to put in equal effort before you can bond with him again. Have you thought about writing him a letter or an email? Apologise, and explain that although your social skills are lacking, you value the friendship (even if it doesn't always seem that way to him), and would like to be friends again. Bear it in mind, that if he agrees, you will have to make a conscious effort to act more sociable towards him.
