My mouse's face is swollen?

Swollen Face due to acne???! Need help!?

  • About a day ago i noticed that i had a "underground pimple" forming on my left side of my face, i tried to ignore it but it slowly got larger and larger. It has been about 2-3 days since I first noticed its forming and now it has swollen the entire lower left side of my face; pretty much it looks like i was stung by a bee or something. I have since read all i can online to be-rid of it an nothing has seemed to work. I have iced it for an entire day and the swelling did not seem to go down, I have taken one dose of Doxycycline Hyclate ( 100mg) to help fight any bacteria , i have showered in hot water an washed my face with medicated soap containing benzyl peroxide, i also sterilize a needle an tried to get some puss out, but when i tried to remove any puss a small pin size amount of blood appeared and no puss. Since then i have been putting on a topical ointment ( Clean&Clear invisible blemish treatment) on because it contains salicylic acid (2%) and the swelling has not reduced at all. It does not hurt unless i touch directly in the centre of the pimple but it has swelled my face about x2 the normal amount. Other drinking plenty of water and sleeping, what can i do to get rid of this? i have work tomorrow and can't go in with a swollen face because i work in the a public setting with very strict rules on appearance. Please help! P.s. i have also tried taking normal medications like Tylenol an advil

I'm having the same problem. Really I don't know a solution. I'm sorry. Just go along with the bee sting story... There is one crazy thing you could try but it might not work... If you buy a mango from your store and eat the insides and rub the skin on your face it might help. For me, it just dried it a lot and returned a fleshy color instead of redness after it was done. But no garunteed results

Since you asked for a mild face wash, the above answers are off topic. Try cetaphyl, you can rinse or wipe off gently. The store brand at wal-mart is good, too.
