How do you dance hip hop correctly?

How do I tell my dad I want to join Hip Hop dance classes?

• Hi, I'm 12 and in 7th grade. I love hip hop dancing and I want to join a hip hop class, but I'm too shy to tell my dad that I want to do hip hop dancing. He wants me to do swimming, but I really don't want to even though I don't know why I just don't want to do it. There's a dance studio that my friend goes to and she takes hip hop dancing there, but I just don't know how to tell him I want to do hip hop, any advice or ideas? Thanks in advance.

  You have to tell him that you do not want to do swimming and want to do dancing. If there is any other dance class that you may want to take try telling him you would like to take this and that. Write a letter to him explaining the same thing that you would in person. Whenever I want somthing and it's embarrassing to ask I write a letter. I know how you feel. Good luck :)
