What community colleges guarantee admission to UC's?

Rejected by all UCs but guaranteed admission to one?

  • I was rejected by all of the UCs I applied to (UCLA, Berkeley, Irvine, SD, SB). I'm a California resident, and in the top 9% of of California high school graduates, which means I'm guaranteed admission to one of the UCs based on the statewide path (my stats - UC GPA 3.3, CR 670, Math 680, Writing 660). http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/freshman/california-residents/admissions-index/index.html Is my application going to be automatically forwarded to the other UCs (Merced), or do I need to send it in? Is there anybody I can contact? Thanks!

    If you cannot contact the central UC admissions office, contact UC Merced's admissions office. Also discuss your situation with your high school's college admissions counselor as soon as you can.
