How to convince a landlord to let college students rent out his house?

  • my friends and i found a house we would love to rent out, problem is the landlord isn't too comfortable with 6 college students living there. What kind of things can i do to entice him into letting us rent out the place? I've heard if we tell him we will have weekly professional cleaning and provide him with receipts, if we offer 2 year lease instead of 1, larger deposit etc. Any ideas help! And i already know why a landlord wouldn't want to rent to out to college students so please save us the time and only post suggesting that would benefit us into obtaining the lease! Thanks

    If any of you guys could also get your parents to co-sign on the lease and maybe also offer larger deposit that would take some of the worry away from the landlord. It puts more people on the hook for any damages that may occur. Good luck!
