Women- what is a gentleman? and What are your duties as a lady while near a gentleman?

• I recently found myself listening to and agreeing with something some said who i had never expected to be siding with. Essentially he asked women two questions 1) What is the role / duties of a gentleman 2) As a lady in the presence of a gentleman what are you required to do 3)how do you think you do performing what is required of you The I found the link to this man talking when he was explaining how a gentleman is required to front the bill, give up his seat on the life boat, hold the luggage, pay for the meal/drinks, hold the door open and other bits.........but what does the woman do in return? Like i said i never thought i would be agreeing with this particular guy but its a question i have never asked @fairytarts your answer was kind of obscure but i saw the 'treat others how you would want to be treated part'. The thing is women don't open doors for men and don't get dirty looks if they don't pay the dinner bill straight away... I don't think the two duties are identical they must be different but I just don't know what it is a lady does... not because I'm being sexist but because it maybe something i haven't noticed or picked up on before

  This question is flawed because women should NOT dictate what constitutes a man or gentleman or anything to do with manhood. Whenever a man permits women to do this, he compromises himself before any other proceedings......smh...
