How To Get Minecraft Without Paying?

How to Get Someone [or more] to Stop Playing Minecraft?

  • Ugh OK my whole family basically plays minecraft now _ _||| First my brother......... He plays minecraft ALL the time. It's all he does. He hardly does his HW or anything else. When it's meal time he comes down and eats in like 5 minutes so he can go back to playing minecraft.... And guess what..... He doesn't have any friends! He only has online friends. At school I never see him with anybody, he never goes to anybodys house, and never invites anyone over. THEN my sister. She's SEVEN. She had friends but ever since she started playing minecraft I've noticed her hanging out less and whenever a friend does come over all she wants is to show them/ make them watch her play minecraft. Then my MOM (?!?!). Whenever I come home from school she's always playing minecraft. She's always either playing minecraft, reading, sleeping, or doing normal household care meal making etc.... But I've noticed minecraft taking up more and more of her time... Almost ALL the time [Im awake] I see my mom and my sister together. Either my mom playing minecraft and my sister on the laptop watching minecraft videos or her watching my mom. And vice versa. Whenever I wake up on weekends, I see the same situation. I always wake up to my sister screaming about creepers now.... I mean, I know minecraft is a great game, I've played it too.... but only a couple hours a week at MOST. [If I DO play minecraft that week] So please help, I want my siblings to have social lives... And I'm sure this much MC isn't healthy for my mom.... it just pisses me off so much it's all they do.

It does sound like they have a problem. People can actually become addicted to these games. It is important for them to get some help. You should talk to them about it, set some limits. Try setting a timer and when it goes off they must stop playing. You should speak to your mother and get her on your side because obviously you can not control your entire family. The timer thing may be hard at first but eventually they will get use to it. It is very important to have your mom back you up. So set the timer maybe 30 Min's to an 1 hr a person per day. That is a reasonable amount of time. There have actually been people that have died from being addicted to these games. The issue is controversial, but it happened. Firstly, it's there lives not yours. Also, you're not being effected by this but i see that you are worried so here is what you should do. Talk to your mom and tell her what you told all of us. Let her know you are worried about you brother and sister and that you think they are spending way to much time on the computer. Thats about all you can do in a situation like this. You're not the parents, so you're not going to be able to stop them from playing so much unless you get your mom to agree with you.
