How long does a wire transfer take? minutes?

  • I need to transfer money from my scottrade account to my capitalone account. I need to take out the money at capitalone asap afterwards..... Once I make the wire transfer at the scottrade branch, can I drive to the nearest capitalone branch and get my money out or will it take longer than minutes? I plan on doing this on monday. thank you
