How do you play Mario Kart on PC?

Do both people have to have a copy of Mario Kart 7 for the 3DS in order to play online?

  • My friend and I both have 3DSs, and we want to play Mario Kart. The only problem is that I don't have the game and she does. For the Super Mario Bros. game for the DS, you could only have one person have a copy of the game and everyone was able to play. Is it the same way for thiss? If you have a 3DS you should add me, even tho i dont have any games at all. x) FC: 4983-5018-8275

    You can play with her using just her one copy of the game using wireless local multiplayer. EG: If you're both in the same room then you can play each other with just one game cartridge. But to play online then you need a copy of the game too.
