Why are Non-Steam games trying to launch through Steam?

    Steam's made itself up to be a launch platform. You can run any game you have through steam now. I believe there's an option (if you right click the name of the game on the list) to take it out of Steam.

Reinstalling everything or only the SA:MP might help, assuming it really didn't launch trough steam before. Besides SA:MP runs on San Andreas, which is a steam title, so I doubt it should be considered Non-Steam.
