How can I fix my DSi?

My DSi says An error has occured. How can i fix this?

next time it happens... take a pot, and put some water in it, then boil it and gently place your DSi into said pot. let sit for 3 - 5 mins. Rense and Repeat.

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/ayfX4 I had the same problem did the game used to work or has it just started to do this. Either way unfortunately it cannot be fixed, I scoured the internet and asked someone who knew about technology who was the one that actually bought the game for me, he said it was the game that was faulty and I had to get a new one :( IF the game card says its suitable for another DS model like ds lite, 3ds then you have bought the wrong game version and its uncompatible with your DS model. Sorry but there is nothing you can do about it T^T
