The Sims 3 - Is the Sims 3 Pets fun/good?
-
Just a minute ago, I was on Amazon and I ordered the Sims 3 Pets expansion pack! It will arrive (max) Wednesday, it should be here on Tuesday though. It seems really good and I want to get it as soon as. I went into town and spent 1-2 hours looking for a shop that wasn't closed down or had it - you would expect game to have it! But, NO! They had the Sims 1 and 2 on sale! I guess that's all they can sale as they are going to be shut down. I want opinions from simmers that play the Sims 3 Pets, it seems fun! Thanks and points will be rewarded to the best answer.

Answer:
Yes. It's actually one of my favorite expansion packs. Comparing this to the other animal expansions for the sims series over the years (Unleashed for the Sims 1, and Pets for the Sims 2), this is definitely the best animal-themed one they've ever done. It has a lot of great little details, like the fact that you can now control your pets, the fact that you can go and capture rare pets in the wild, and then of course, there are horses. :) I love the new riding skill, the fact that you can now make money through entering competitions, and so much more. The new town is really beautiful too, and it's perfect for playing with horses. Be aware, though, that a lot of people have experienced bugs and glitches with this game (but that seems to be very common for any of the Sims 3 expansions during the first weeks after release and they should be releasing a patch soon). Anyway, I'd say it really depends on what you want in an expansion, but if you have been looking forward to playing with pets, you can't go wrong with this. It's very well done.
