What makes easter so special?

Christians, why don't you just come clean and admit that Easter is Pagan, lying makes you look really bad?

    The celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ has nothing to do with Paganism. This greatest of Christian holy days has been celebrated for almost 2,000 years and is directly related to the Jewish feast of Passover which was celebrated for about 3,000 years before Christ. Neither of which is related to or based on Paganism. Even the rather movable date of Easter is based on the ancient Jewish calendar. The popular observance of Easter has incorporated a couple of pagan symbols of fertility in rabbits and eggs but they have nothing to do with the actual celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. If some Christians want to do away with Easter bunnies and Easter eggs then I have no problem with that but do not throw Jesus Christ out with them. With love in Christ.

What are you even talking about? It's the non-Christians who chase after rabbits! Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and just because the Gregorian calendar doesn't always coincide with the Lunar calendar that the Jews use to remember and celebrate the Passover, any intelligent person knows that Jesus died on the Passover, then rose again the morning of the 3rd day. It has nothing to do with any pagan religious activities, but only liars would tear down this kind of straw man, and lying like this really makes you look really bad! If you can't tell the truth about the Christian beliefs where there is a plethora of historical information which clearly proves that the death of Jesus Christ was at the Passover time, then how are you going to be a good example for others to follow? Now please clean up all this straw that you left behind from tearing down this straw man!
