You have to pick a saint's name. You will need a patron saint for confirmation. This saint will be your guide and protection after confirmation. It's a serious decision. You will have a special relationship with this saint for the rest of your life. Look up different saints on Catholic websites. Pray and choose the one that you feel is right. There are no saints that go by the name Token or Eire. They are pagan names, not Christian names. You will have to look for something else.

I guess the name you pick is the name of the saint whose feast day is celebrated on your birthday. That's what nuns before used to do.

I've always wondered about this. I went to a Catholic seminary for my Theology degree, but, this practice was never mentioned, not even when we learned about Baptism, and Confirmation. I never did find out why Catholics do this!
