What Happened After 2004 Earthquake Tsunami?

Answer:
I was in a country which was badly effected by the 2004 tsunami. houses were destroyed, there was debris lying all over. the social impact was the worst coz many ppl lost their loved ones and were left with nothing but the clothes they were wearing. till to date i've heard of ppl who are still tracing their lost family members in the hope of seeing them again. economic impact was just as bed coz ppl lost their livelihood. specially those in the coastal belts who depended on fishing. they lost not only their home but their boats and fishing gear as well. they lost all their assets. the cause is of-course an earthquake but destruction of natural barriers like corral reefs and mangroves contributed drastically to some areas hitting them worse than areas which did not remove natural resources. At the initial stage the countries governments and foreign aid did help but sadly now most of these countries are forgotten.

You have a library, you have the internet. Use them. But first, state the country you are talking about. Tsunamis happen regularly, and can cause no damage.
