What is the difference between a chemtrail and a contrail?

What is a logical explanation for this?

  • I have always been skeptical about the existence of chem trails. Some of the images I have seen just look like natural cloud formations. Other images of obvious jet trails I just have never seen. Until this morning. I was out walking my dog at the local state park and it was a typical beautiful clear sunny Floridian morning. I noticed 6 big trails in the sky one on top of the other which reminded me of these chemtrail images I had seen. My first thought was, there are at least 3 international airports within a 30 mile radius. I decided to hang around and see if anymore airplanes came by making this trail. Sure enough 4 more came by. I understand that passenger aircraft leave trails but they are not very long. The trails from these aircraft went from horizon to horizon. From the moment I first saw the trails to the time I left the sky went from being clear with the odd wispy cloud to a light cloud covering that spread right across the sky. This could be explained by a rapid change it weather pattern that is very common. Although usually this type of cloud is common in the mornings and is gradually burned away by the rising son. The opposite was happening here.Two other aircraft also came by,one with a contrail that was quite short which I assumed would be a commercial aircraft and another similar aircraft that had no trail at all. So can those variations in trails really be due to changes in atmospheric conditions when they all appear within a few minutes of each other? On my way home I saw 2 more of these aircraft and saw two more of these trails right over my house. So I know all about the conspiracy theories about these trails. Does any one else have a solid explanation for these.

    There is no such thing as a "Chemtrail", only condensation trails which are a natural byproduct of powered flight have have been around since the invention of the airplane. Different aircraft with different powerplants flying at different altitudes and in different conditions of weather and humidity will produce different trails or none at all. That too is something that has been around for a century. This should come as no surprise to anyone with an IQ of at least 2 digits. Like all conspiracy nutters the Chemtrail folks are very convincing - all they lack is a shred of credible evidence.

The variations in length and size of the trails are probably due to different temperatures and wind speeds at the altitudes the planes are flying in. The planes you see may be all flying at different altitudes, which explains their different trails.
