What can you do with a Business Economics major?

Can you double major in business and economics?

• i'm a female high school junior; i'm interested in business and economics. my top colleges are georgia tech, university of georgia, texas christian university, southern methodist university, university of texas- austin, and depaul university. would it be possible/is would it be a good idea for me to double major in a business field (like sales, management, of marketing) and economics? would i be employable with a double major like this?

  You'd probably be one of the most employable people with those double majors. In my experience, the people who major in Business and don't slack off completely end up getting pretty good jobs. The ones that major in Economics end up with very well paying jobs, not always right off the bat, but eventually. If you can swing the double major and still get good grades then I say go for it. If it's going to jeopardize your academic success, I'd say just pick one of the majors and go with it. Or minor in the other, or take summer classes so you can balance your work load. But good choices! Just remember to get some work experience in there if you can! Good luck : )
