Teenager with experience searching for a part-time summer job?

  • Hello, I'm in NYC and I'm trying to find another job for the summer to make more use of my time then, since I have to work anyway. I should describe to you what sorts of experience I have. I've worked at public libraries in the office of library technology, and just in a branch doing teen programs and childrens programs, organizing books, customer service like helping with technology and book searching. Now, I work at an art museum training for my summer camp tours that I'm going to be teaching to children in the summer. I'm not having much luck in my job search, since it's very frustrating that 16 year olds are only even considered being hired in limited positions because of the age restraint. My questions are: Where do I even begin my job search? Which jobs should I apply for? Any suggestions of who would hire me?
