What are the most under-appreciated careers in a hospital?

What careers are million dollar careers?

  • I am planning to do something with art. Like part time tattooing, and designing, writing, ect. And i know this sounds insane, but i want a big house. Like a old style mansion with horses roaming outside and what not. I know i can achieve this if i try. I have no boundaries. But can anyone tell me what careers make an ***-load of money?? Especially pertaining to art? Or something like that? Please don't be rude. This is an honest question. I really want this. I'm stuck at home in my little (but fairly nice) home with my parents and sister, and all i want is when i move out in three or four years and am in art college to hopefully one day get a big house.

  • Answer:

Less than 0.01% of people in the arts make million dollar incomes. For example. the average income for members of the Screen Actor's Guild is about $8,000 a year. And that includes the ones making $20,000,000 a year. In art, 99% are dirt poor. 0.99% make an OK living and under 0.01% are stinking rich, Most rich people started a business. If you want all that stuff you would need to open a tattoo shop and build it up to a chain of over 100 locations.

Write a best-selling novel or a bunch of top ten songs (that's about it for art). Other than that, most everything else will take years of hard work and being in the right place at the right time (or a lot of guts to invest everything you have in a new venture and work 18 hour days to make it real successful). Only a handful of people earn a million a year - mostly CEOs of large companies, entertainers and the few JK Rowlings of the world.
