  • Hey there so i went to a job interview this past Wednesday my appointment was at 3 o clock and i showed up 20 minutes early everything was fine and was just waiting on the manager to finish his interview with another applicant so when my turn came up i introduced myself and proceeded he ask me whats costumer service what brought me to what i was applying and when have i gone a step further. so for every question i had a answer as soon as he finished asking it i was on top of my game . so as end of interview was coming he said heres my card and will call you either me or the hr manager letting you know what the next steps are towards the interview in the next few days or next days something like that he said what should i do wait till monday or call him asap back checking on my status he looked very interested in me but you never know what are my options people help ..

    He clearly told you what the next steps were in the hiring process. DO NOT CALL HIM... you will bug him. If he gave you his business card what you DO need to do is take the time to compose a nicely constructed email thanking him for his time and for the interview. In the email mention something about the conversation you had during your interview in regards to what they were looking for and use it as an opportunity to once again highlight your skillset and the reason you are a great fit for the job. It is imperative that you email contains NO typos and that it is properly written. If you are working in customer service, being able to properly communicate is imperative, so by sending him a thank you email you are reinforcing your ability to properly communicate. If you need help there are several websites that have wonderful thank you templates. It is also a good idea to have someone proofread it for you before you send it. Send the email ASAP... as it may already be too late. Good luck in your job search.
