How does a 3-day notice work?

Written notice of piece work i have not recieved after being on peice work for 3 months?

  • hi i work for a welding company and i went onto piece work production in my 2 month i asked for all the info on piece work etc and they said sure (but never recieved anything in writing) i just had my pay packet this month and only earned £750 before tax and deductions i work 35 hrs a week and this is for 4 wekks work it worked i was earning only £5 and hour below NMW cause im 23 i looked up on direct gove and found some info stating i should of recieved a notice of fair rate or summit before going onto piece work in writing but i was just told verbally vaguely how it worked is it legal to sya it verbally or does it have to be in writing also what can i do about this months pay im £200 short on it any help would be great as im soooo confused :-D
