    Many people will start out working in a retail computer store that does repairs or the computer department of a large retailer like Best Buy, Staples, etc. If you are interested in doing software development work it is a bit tougher to get an entry level job as you will need to find a small business or small software development shop to work at. These software jobs are a bit harder to locate. Also many people in software development start out by forming their own company and doing web site development, database work and web site hosting.
