Why Do I Always Dream Of Being In A New House?

Weird dream about a new house and a mirror?

  • I had a dream last night, that me and my family of four, I'm 13 moved into a new house. It was an old two story house and it was in a neighbour hood called Something castle, Idk. and in it I went up to my bedroom, and there was curtains on the walls everywhere. Here comes the main bit of the dream, I saw an old wooden mirror it was a little bit cracked and I looked in a photo frame then like this girl with short curly hair smashed the mirror and fell inside it. But the dream felt real like I was actually there and touching things. Does it mean anything?

  • Answer:

I think moving into a new house means the family, or just you but that often includes them of course, had a change. Two storeys may mean two levels of you - mind and emotion. Maybe two levels of this change. Called Something Castle - I guess you mean not literally Something, because that would be a great name, but that you don't remember what it was. But Castle may imply protection from the world, as castles were used in war, or maybe an almost fantasy place. Curtains on the walls might be this new place is unveiled, not discovered properly yet. Or you close off yourself from the world. The mirror cracked - The mirror must be you reflecting on yourself or what's going on here, which does have a crack or something not quite right. A photo frame is maybe a memory you have of someone or something important to you. I wonder if it might be a photo from your mind, meaning a lesson you are remembering. After that.. Did this girl smash your reflection on this new thing and then she fell in the hole she made, or had a bad consequence? The girl could be someone else, say, your sister, or it can be you. And you are a girl. I think it makes sense then. You smashed reflecting on this situation, then you fell in the hole because you can't smash your own reflection. Got it. It separated into another person because it was another part of you. Maybe someone you are not normally, or don't like. I think that is why you smashed it. ====================== So basically, I think now that photo was you, how you were or want to be - how you remember yourself, because straight after that you smashed your reflection. __________________________ It's so real because it is about your exact experience, and like you can touch things, I guess because the higher mind recreates everything symbollic in a seeminly solid way for you to act in. Amazing really. Like Star Trek's TNG holodeck if you have seen that. ********************************** Is any of this close to correct?
