What does it mean when you dream about a bee that doesn't sting?
-
I had a dream last night and as I woke early today, I can't figure what it really meant. As soon as I saw the bee, I close my ears with my hands.. the bee went at my left side ear but doesnt do anything harm to me, just that in my dream I felt like the bee wants to get in my ear, but the bee is silent, it doesnt buzz around or something, then few seconds the bee went to my right side ear, but it didnt went right through my ear cos my hands is there... then a few seconds after the bee went away. it didnt cause me harm, no buzzing aroung or something. please help me with the meaning...

Take all interpretations you're given with a grain of salt. Only you can definitively interpret your own dreams. In Celtic mythology, the bee symbolizes secret wisdom coming from the other world. In Greek myth, the Great MOther goddess was seen as the Great Bee, and bees were bestowers of eloquence and song, the "birds of the muses." (This is info from a book about symbols). YOur own associations with bees might also be important: what do bees symbolize for you? Do you like them? What do you associate with bees and honey, hives and/or flying insects? The fact that this bee clearly is doing nothing to harm you, reinforces the likelihood that this bee is here to help you, as is the fact that the bee wants to go "into" your ear. Everything in dreams is symbolic. This is not about a real life bee really trying to go in your ear. The symbolism means that the bee is bringing some message ( as in Celtic myth secret wisdom from the otherworld, or divine realm) and is "going into your ear" so you can hear that message. THe message wants to be heard. If I were you, I"d pay attention to the more "subtle" areas of your life right now, and use your intuition to see what "messages" the divine realm, or the otherworld, is trying to bring you right now. Your dream does seem to suggest that this otherworld wants to communicate with you now, and that you have nothing to fear, because you will not be harmed.

You may want to have your ears checked. The bee being silent could indicate hearing loss. It could also mean that you need to listen to inner wisdom instead of outer advice. Bees usually represent busy-ness, or sweetness, or community living. Maybe too many people are talking to or at you about something and you have to find your answer by listening to silence.
