I have a problem running GTA IV on my PC.

GTA IV PC PERFORMANCE PROBLEM?

  • OK so i want to run GTA IV at full graphics but it's running sluggish & slow, here are my PC Specs Windows 7 Home Premium Service pack 1 AMD FX - 4100 Quad-Core Processor 3.60 GHz 8.00 GB Ram 64-bit operating system i went on Can you run it & my PC blow the recommended requirements outta the water, so why oh why is it running slow & sluggish. Thanks for your replies

    The HD 6450 is a pretty weak card. You can't expect it to run anything on max settings really, probably low-medium at best.

GTA IV is seriously GPU-CPU heavy. The 6450 isn't the best (It's worse than my 9600GT. It's 3 years old.) according to here: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html.

No clue, should run fine. What graphics card do you have? There are some graphics mods out there that will speed up performance, otherwise just lower the graphics quality
