How to hook my Wii back up?

• Recently my grandparents had a satellite receiver hooked up to the tv that I play my Wii on. I had it hooked up through the DVD/VCR & when the satellite receiver was installed, DirecTV unhooked the DVD/VCR. So now I can't play my Wii. Is there a way that I could fix this? Hook up the Wii through the receiver or just unhook the reciever while I play the Wii? I mean, the TV I play on isn't a flat screen by any means (do NOT tell me to get a new TV, we can't afford it). But it worked before the reciever was hooked up so if there's any way that I can hook up the Wii again, I'd really appreciate it.

  hook it up to the back of ur tv if u have the 3 plugs(red,white, and yellow) has to be input 1,2 or 3 in then take ur tv remote not the cable remote and find the tv/video button or game mode button or input button and press it while ur wii is on and then see it pop up on the tv. if this doesnt work steal a tv. its not that hard
