Why does the PS3 lag so much?

Why does it lag while I play online when I turn another ps3 on?

  • I have two ps3's and everything was fine until a couple days ago... I was able to play online without any problems even when My brother was using the other ps3.. But recently when I play cod black ops and my brother turns on the other ps3 it starts to lag, and the signal bars go all the way down and sometimes they go up for a few seconds.. I don't know why this happens. Even Netflix seems to be slow.

    You should be behind a router it may be to week i know this from life when i had an old one i had problems when more then 4 things are connected when i upgraded to an E3000 all problems were slowed no Mather if there more than 8 devices connected the router keeps up nicely

Because the internet connection is being half so you can use it both of you... If you have a very good internet connection you wont see this..but if your connection isnt "Beast" then that happen.. Also happens to me when my parents use my pc when im on ps3 ;/ sucks
