How can I change my PS3 font to black?

How to change the font on the PS3 Console?

• The main screen were u sign in is big font. Even when ur playing online it is big font which makes the screen huge. Now it wasn't like this the whole time. Bc it did this once before and then font/screen siZe when back to normal then it got big again. Not sure if my son messed with something or what. Been through all the settings and nothing. Pls help Bc it's frustrating.

  the screen size is dependent on if you are using an HDTV , an HD cable and set your ps3 to use HD resolution , since itès set up to be used on a widescreen HDTV ( 16:9 ) if you use an sdtv or don't use either HD cables or setup in hd resolution you get a streched and big picture . To see the ps3 screen ( and font ) in smaller letters and size you have to use an HDTV and setup using HD cables at the 720p or 1080p settings in the ps3's display settings , you son't say what type of settings or TV / cable setup you are using so all I can do is give proper setup to get the best picture . Use an HDTV and either comonent cables and 720p resolution setting or HDMI cable and 1080p or 720p settings ( whatever your tv supports ) if you change to the standard av cable which can only give sd 480i reseolution or use an sdtv then you are limited to the big font and HD wiescreen ps3 menu and games squashed down to the sdtv 4:3 display . if you had the smaller font before check the display settings , cable that the ps3 is connected to the tv with and your tv`s settings to see if the tv is set at a 16:9 picture .
