Can we skip cutscenes in Assassin`s Creed Brotherhood?

Can I play Assassins Creed Revelations without playing Assassins Creed Brotherhood? I have played AC2 and 1.?

    AC is a great game. i have played all the AC's except for revelations but yes i think u would need to at least play AC: Brotherhood sense Revelations fallows with Ezio. so doe's brotherhood and AC:2. but i see what they was trying to do with these two games Rev and Brotherhood. they was giving more concept on Desmond's past unlike AC: 1 with Altair we really didn't get to see the full story there. So when they gave us AC:2 they wanted to make sure they didn't leave any cracks behind they made this game badass. but now i don't much people wanna play AC: Revelations. everyone is hyped for AC:3 so if i was u just go with AC: 3

I think you should first buy AC brotherhood but if it is out of stock you should read the summary at the internet.

If you are attached to the story of Altair and Ezio then no, you pretty much won't understand half of what Ezio talks about or Altair.
