How do I tune my Vtec controller?

Xbox 360 wired controller has no fine tune aiming?

• I bought a brand new xbox 360 wired controller via Amazon and when I started using it there is no fine tune aiming. For example, normally when you move the right analog stick VERY slightly it will move very slowly in that direction and it will have varying speed for how much you move the right stick over to the right. With this controller when I VERY slightly move the right analog stick over nothing even registers on the screen for my aiming and no matter how slowly I begin to move the right analog stick when it finally registers my aiming it jerks the weapon over at a superfast speed that i can not control. So basically the right analog stick (I would assume) only registers one aiming speed (that being super fast speed) and NO intermediary speeds and is therefore useless for FPS games because it just jerks right and left and up and down and you are nearly LUCKY if you get the weapon to square in on someone that is COMPLETELY still and a medium distance. If anyone knows the problem please tell me how to fix the controller, or maybe it's because it is new? (doubt it) but please help.
