EBS Marketing for Facebook scam, or just very poor service?
-
Has anyone used EBS marketing for Facebook advertising for their business? I did and it cost me £145 for 20K adverts... I was suspicious of this company, EBS Marketing, They promised great results but when I looked at my server stats I had only 2 clicks from Facebook during the promotion. That's not good is it? So I cancelled my advertising with EBS marketing only to find that now they do not have my stats from Facebook and refuse to discuss the details further. This company do not say anything about not receiving the stats from Facebook if you cancel.. SO beware has any other business in the UK had the EBS marketing for Facebook ScaM? 20K adverts wouldn't even be enough to cover ONE county on Facebook for a month let alone the whole UK. When challenged on this EBS said that we should have bought more ads.. UM now I wonder why that would be? 2 click from Facebook is what I would expect from normal web users so in actual real terms there was no increase in traffic from EBS marketing and as I say they refuse to show us the stats from Facebook themselves.. If there is anyone that works for Facebook that reads this you should know that this company are giving you a bad name... So can anyone tell me otherwise?

Answer:
EBS Marketing is a scam. I know several people who have worked there including one called Stuart Davies who doesn't mind being named. All that EBS Marketing do is promise you the earth and deliver nothing. They charge you for facebook impressions (NOT EVEN CLICKS) so it is not surprising that you feel you have been ripped off. The management at EBS, or Enigma Business Solutions all have false telephone names too!!! You only need to type the phrase 'EBS Marketing scam' into Google to find out what their own customers' experience is of this sham of a company. EBS Markerketing also do the old Google Adwords scam where they lie to you that they are an official Google reseller which they are not. There are five Authorised Google AdWords Resellers in the UK: BT Business Yell Infoserve Portfolio Europe (automotive dealers only) ReachLocal BE WARNED. STEER WELL CLEAR OF EBS MARKETING SCAM. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR DEBIT CARD DETAILS AND THEN RINSE YOU FOR ALL THEY ARE WORTH.

Hi Paul Sorry don't know about facebook, but can warn you cancel your order in writing as soon as you can as they will take your money again!! They will tell you that they told you verbally terms and conditions and that its a rolling contract. Cancel your debit card as well. Beware of this company, google it and see all the complaints the only good reports are from people who work there
