How to hide my birthday from Facebook?

  • It's my 19th on Tuesday & I don't want everyone knowing. I know how to hide it in my info, but how do I hide it so when the day comes people won't see "NAME's Birthday is today" on their homepage? I don't want to disable my wall or anything, just don't want people knowing.. I've already hid my full birthday from my Timeline, but how do I stop it from showing up on the day?

    The basic steps that you can do are: • Main profile and click ‘Edit Profile’ located at the upper middle of your profile page • Go to Birthday and click the dropdown and select ‘Don’t show my birthday in my profile’ • Beside the birthday you can also customize it by selecting ‘Only me’ • Then click ‘Save changes’ I hope this helps.

Don't worry -- if you've already selected "Don't show my birthday on my timeline", then it won't be displayed anywhere else on Facebook - including other peoples' homepage.

If you go into profile settings it will be in there. Click change profile picture (even if you dont want to) then when it comes up along the side will be other stuff for eg. Hobbies. It will be in one of the topics. Hope this helped
