How to become a snowboarding pro?

Professional Snowboarding?

  • Hi i'm 17 and i've only been skiing once and i love the snow! But i've never been snowboarding before. i've heard it's like wake boarding which i'm alright at. The problem is i live in an area where the lowest temp is about 18 degrees. I'm thinking about getting a Freebord. How hard is it to snowboard? and is it to late to try and become a pro?

  • Answer:

well skiing is easier to learn. and I'm 18 and ive been snowboarding for 7 years now and I would say yea its to late to become pro because it is so competitive and the kids that live out west in like Colorado are raised snowboarding or skiing so they are way ahead. There are kids that are sponsored at like 13 now and they can beat my ass any day in snowboarding. Go out west and you will see like 10 year olds doing flips and ****.
