How To Check Voter ID Card?

I have Applied For my lost Voter ID card but the department is closed, what to do?

• I applied for new Voter ID card in dec 2011 but the list came some where around feb2012 in which my details was correct, i was waiting for the Card, later found out no person was in-charge for my Voter id card, so as per voter id dept of kanyakumari suggestions, i reapplied stating my card is lost, and they informed me to come back after 2 weeks to get my card, and today i went and astonished to see the dept was closed. Asked officers in taluk office, and there was no response. What to do? any true Indians help me.....
