Is it possible to improve sat score?

I need some advice on how to improve my SAT score?

  • Answer:

You want to target your weak areas and the sections or concepts that gave you problems on the test. Prep books will help you if you haven't used them before, but they're otherwise mostly beneficial only to review tips and tricks; reviewing actual concepts such as algebra or grammar are better found in books intended for instruction. Practice tests will probably be the most pertinent method of studying once you can identify what exactly is plaguing you on these tests, whether it's time management, problems with the reading comprehension, making careless mistakes in the Math section, and so on. Don't repeat the same process you took the first time and definitely don't just reread a practice book and expect a higher score.

I haven't taken my SAT's yet but my sister has. It seems to be very useful to look at those SAT prep books because they refresh your mind and cover a lot of the basics that you've learned in the past that will most likely be on the SAT tests. There are many of these books at the library or any book store near you. :)
