• - The director of the film (ex. you'll watch a movie if it directed by Hitchcock) - The actors in the film (ex. you'll watch a movie if Elizabeth Taylor is in it) - The popularity or historical/cultural importance of the film (ex. you watch all the classic films or films most talked about) - The theme or subject matter of the film (ex. you love watching films about World War 1) - The time period the film was made of (ex. you love watching films made in the 50s) - The country the film was made in (ex. you especially enjoy films made in Italy) - The ratings of the film ( ex. you watch movies when they get favourable reviews) Thanks!

  All of the above. I love watching movies and all of the above gives me reasons to check out a movie. Like Director, James Cameron makes outstanding movies. I'll watch movies due to certain actors and actresses. I also love action pack movies. But i do find myself mainly picking movies based on theme and ratings.
