How to get a summer job on a cruise ship?

Cruise Ship Career questions!! Help?

  • I've left school (Have 5 GCSE's including Spanish, English) and I'm working towards getting my maths GCSE (exam is before summer). I'm 16 and I'm trying to look for a job, but I want to get relevant experience for my future goal, that is, to work on a cruise ship. What kind of jobs should I be looking for that would aid me in achieving my goal? I've been offered a job as a maid in a hotel (and experience in hotels are good for working on a cruise ship) but I'm not sure if its the type of job for me... Also! are there any courses specifically for cruise ships? I wouldn't mind doing a short online course (no degrees-just a certificate or something)

    hey, my dad works on the cruise too. for MSC, from past 26 years and 22 trips. he has done various courses but before that he too joined the hotel to get some experience but it was 26 years ago and the process to join cruises now is the same. if u want the best advice u can get in touch with any boys from Mumbai or Goa.
