WHY IS MY AIRSOFT GUN NOT FIRING?

Airsoft gun not firing...?

  • I have a kraken ak-47 police airsoft rifle and it will not fire. The motor cycles on both automatic and semi-auto but BB's will not fire out of it. If I turn it upside down it'll fire once or twice and stop. I've tried fooling with the hop-up, using different BB's, trying other mags (only High-caps, haven't got a chance to try a midcap). I have no idea what it could be, and the gun is practically brand new.

  • Answer:

Did it fire only once then stop when it was upside down or always do it? From the sound of it, your(sorry about my airsoft lingo) tappet plate, one of the gears, most likely not the bevel, or piston is broke or lost a tooth. Maybe your barrel or feeder tube alignment is off, or your clip has problems. either way, if its internal, you will need to send it in to the manufacturer if they can fix it(email them) or to someone like me who can fix them. Sorry about your gun problem, and good luck!
