What can I do over easter holidays?

I'm stuck for ideas for Easter holidays, what's the unique selling point of your county?

  • I'm stuck for ideas for Easter holidays, what's the unique selling point of your county? I'm really stuck, my wife doesn't want to sit and read on the rocks while i fish and have a beer then freeze her nips off at night while i do my astronomy. She wants to see stuff like paintings or old churches and museums. I'm from Antrim our unique selling point is the glens of Antrim Waterfoot Glenarrif Cushendun Cushendal. What's your county's unique selling point?

  • Answer:

We have a Matalan and a Pound Shop in West Midlands. Oh and we also have a church by my house but it's a bit riffy and needs a good clean.

Unique selling point? The unique selling point of our country would have to be the Monarchy and the long history of the British Isles. If your talking about something to do I usually look up http://www.outdoorni.com/events/ though this easter I expect to go out kayaking - highly recommended. Could try the Marble Arch Caves, North Coast, Londonderry etc but there is also the Titanic Festival in Belfast which will be running for a few weeks. look up http://www.discovernorthernireland.com/ http://www.britevents.com/ http://www.ukevents.net/ http://www.ulsterscotsagency.com/events/

The Titanic Museum thing in Belfast is opening today, you could go there over the Easter! If the weather permits why not go on a roadtrip to the beach, Tramore in Waterford would be an idea, or Salthill in Galway! :)

Let me see nothing LOL. Naw we've got downhill, castlerock Portstewart coleraine Portrush and mushendun temple around here. But I'm nearer north Antrim than the rest of the county so I usually just goto Ballycastle or giants causeway occasionally torr head.
