If I live in Colorado (income tax state) but work in Wyoming (no income tax state) do I have to pay income tax?? Is it the state you EARN your income in or the state where you reside to which the income tax rules apply?? I am moving to the area for a job in Cheyenne Wyoming and I need to know this so I know where to live. If i have to pay income taxes living in colorado but working in wyoming.. I will simply not live in colorado and just work/live in Cheyenne. But if I can live in colorado and not pay income taxes because of working in a no-income tax. I will live in Fort Collins which has alot more stuff to offer in terms of entertainment/food/etc
