kayak,travelocity,priceline...etc there's a million of them w/ TV commercials running 24/7/365 and ads in every other type of media known to mankind how/why do people miss this and have to ask here? This isn't even the travel section

I could be off the mark because most of the flights I book are international. But I've found it better to go direct to the Airline. It might cost a few % more, sometimes its cheaper, but you have better options of changing dates, selecting seats, etc.

I usually use charterflightfinder.com, they have a discount box for cheap flights on their home page. I think you get something like 10% or 20% lower rates if you go through that thing... Good luck!
