Anyone know where I can get free makeup samples?
-
I reaaally need new makeup for a show coming up, and I'm low on money, but whenever I look online for free samples, it's always scam! Any good places? Or, I've even heard of companies sending people free makeup? I have a Youtube account, and I'd be happy to do a makeup tutorial if it means I'll get free stuff!

Answer:
There will rarely be a company that will give out free makeup, but you are asking for samples which you can get. =).. So first: If you have a sephora or MAC store, go in and you dont even need to buy anything, ask them for samples. Especially with MAC, you can ask for samples of pigments, and they give you a good amount that will last you a long time. MAC also gives samples of other things you ask for, not just pigments, such as foundations, and fluidlines, as well as lip conditioners, as well as other things. Sephora can give you samples of things like face creams, eye creams, face washes, etc. Sephora also has a beauty insider thing where you can get free stuff when you spend a certain amount of money. You also can get free stuff when it is your birthday no matter how much you spend. So, if you want that free present, you can either make up a bday close to when you need it, or just use your real one if it is close to the date of your show. You can also go to department stores and ask for samples. You can say stuff like "oh, i dont know if it will work well with my skin, can i have a free sample." And if you have a blog, or start a blog, or start a beauty channel on youtube, you can contact a company, such as NYC and ask them to send you free stuff to review. I've seen many youtubers do it, and not only the popular ones. I know a girl on youtube who only has about 20 subscribers and got free stuff from NYC to do a review and tutorial on. Well hoped i helped =)

I personally get all my free samples haven't seen any make-up ones but maybe one day they so but a great place to get free stuff anyhow (and enter some truly great competitions) from http://www.competitionsonline4u.com This site always keeps the info up to date you will usually see at least 2 new offers/samples competitions etc a week but sometimes they bring out a lot more plus the bit that I like the most about this site is they write a review about each and every free sample offer, competitions and so on which really helps you choose the ones you want to enter and the ones you don't. I hope this helps you a little :)
