How to take vintage looking photos?

How do i take photos that are washed out/grungy looking?

    That actually looks like film. And, no, you won't get that effect on any mode on any camera. You can do that in post production... but I'm not sure if you even know how to use Photoshop. What does OXO cubes have to do with photography anyway?

OXO, isn't that a brand of stock cubes? The pictures. shoot normally and process to overexpose. Reduce saturation a bit.

Lower saturation, lower contrast. If you have those controls on the camera, great. If not, take it normally then adjust in the computer.
