You have to install media codecs for DVD playback to work. The package you need is "libdvdcss2". 1. Add the Medibuntu repository to your system: https://hhttps://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu 2. Update your system: sudo apt-get update 3. Install libdvdcss2: sudo apt-get install libdvdcss2 You'll be all set after that.
